Ishan Dylan is a fiction writer and conservation biologist from the Chesapeake region who lives and works on the Olympic Peninsula. His work is influenced by his experience with wilderness. It often touches on the threads that hold our world together — the seemingly random connections that created us, and the meanings we create in response.

His debut short story Theseus was published in Issue VIII of Exposition Review, "Lines". His short story Cicada was published in four themed collections from After Dinner Conversation including their Best of 2023 anthology.
